Serious Audio Video works in tandem with a number of interior designers and it’s always a pleasure to help them bring a unique vision to fruition. This smart home in Hoboken, NJ is as comfortable as it is stylish.
When partnering with Cindy Dzurita of CD Interior , she gave us a beautiful place to create an integrated smart home technology system for, we were really excited to put a cinema quality entertainment system in their living room. The steel wall made it a challenge, one we were ready, willing and able to accept.
Every room in the house has a similar vintage inspired motif, the challenge was incorporating modern smart home amenities without disturbing or distracting from the aesthetic. Installed throughout the home are low profile and invisible speakers; the multi-room audio system makes it possible to give each room it’s own independent soundtrack or, play one music source throughout the home. Their Elan home systems platform controls the lighting, HVAC, CCTV/surveillance, motorized blinds, multi-room audio/video systems and door locks with one user-friendly platform; accessible from the homeowner’s smartphone and tablet.
When it was completed, these clients had themselves a unique living space with a modern and user-friendly home control system.
